Unless with prior consent to do so, AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. will only collect and use personal information as stated below and for nothing else.
Disclosure
In cases where the customer has provided consent to receive marketing emails AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. will provide their name and email address to Infusionsoft, our email marketing partner. This information will only be used for the marketing purposes of AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. and you may opt out of these emails at any time from the link found at the base of every email.
AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. understands and recognises your right to personal privacy and collected information will not be disclosed for any other purposes, without your consent. We will NOT disclose your personal information to any external organisation or non-official government entity (i.e. financial institutions, credit card issuers, etc.), excluding in the case above. We will NOT sell your information to any other company/entity.
We will however in exceptional circumstances, disclose information to the Australian Federal Police, Australian Taxation Office or State Police if the information is requested via a court order to assist in investigations and/or if it is required by law. AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. may also disclose information to protect its rights or property.
Security and Storage
AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. employees are obliged to respect customer confidentiality and privacy. Any recorded digital information is stored on secured servers.
Personal information that is transmitted across the internet is not regarded as absolutely secure, AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. is not responsible for any loss or damages due to unauthorised or unlawful access to personal information while being transmitted to us.
Embedded Content and External Websites
AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. website www.aarcsystems.com.au links to websites external to www.aarcsystems.com.au and is not responsible for the content or conduct of these websites or companies/organisations.
Videos on this website are embedded from YouTube. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. YouTube falls under the Google privacy policy, for more information check out the Google Privacy Policy here. The company utilises the cookie free versions of YouTube embedded videos to help protect your privacy.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site they will be asked to provide their name and email address. We also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact Forms
When you complete the contact form on the site, the company will use the information you provide in the required fields to respond to your query quickly and efficiently.

Logging IP Addresses
AARC Systems Pty. Ltd. will log IP addresses for spam and fraud prevention purposes as well as for security and improving user experience.
We will log IP addresses when the following events occur:
• 404 File not found errors
• When a comment is submitted
An IP address will also be logged if the IP address is found to be committing actions that risk the security of www.aarcsystems.com.au (eg. attempting to access admin accounts). These IP addresses will be banned from the site, and are exempt from Right to Erasure requests, unless the visitor can prove they did not perform any action that compromised/ attempted to compromise the security of the site.
Analytics and Tracking
The company utilises Google Analytics on the website to gather information used to improve user experience and site performance. This service will store IP addresses, however we have elected to utilise their anonymize IP function. This results in the last octet of IPv4 user IP addresses and the last 80 bits of IPv6 addresses getting set to zeros before any storage or processing takes place. The full IP address is never stored.
Cookies
www.aarcsystems.com.au uses cookies for analytics. Cookies will be set by Google Analytics to distinguish unique users and unique sessions.
Rights to Erasure, Access & Rectification
Any Right to Erasure, Access, and Rectification requests can be directed to privacy@aarcsystems.com. Right to Erasure requests will result in all personal data being erased from the website database.
